Here's our location on Google Maps  .... and here we are on Apple Maps

Spinnaker Sailing was founded in 1978 by three adventurers in Redwood City. The company quickly grew to several locations including 2 boat yards, several windsurfing shops, Shoreline Sailing Lake in Mountain View and of course, Spinnaker Sailing and Rendezvous Charters at South Beach Harbor since 1986. The San Francisco division broke free from the parent company in 1991. San Francisco and Redwood City remain close business allies. Rich Ferrari and Drew Harper still play in a band together...been rocking 40 years now. If you're interested to see something about the band, here we are. Tuesday Night Ritual.

Spinnaker Sailing offers private charters, bareboat charters, sailing club, team building, private events and corporate activities on its fleet of nineteen 22-50 foot yachts.

Spinnaker is one of the nations leading sailing schools offering certification through the ASA (American Sailing Association) graduating over 35,000 certified sailors since our founding. The ASA certification standard is accepted by charter companies throughout the World. Recently, Spinnaker Sailing revamped the curriculum, creating a sailing education program that is much more comprehensive than virtually any other school in the nation. We now offer the smallest student to instructor ratio for sailing classes in the USA, 2:1 for Basic Keelboat Sailing. This provides the highest level of individual instruction available in a class setting and this is now part of the regular school schedule. Additionally we have proactively made ASA 105, Coastal Navigation, prerequisite to the ASA 104 class. This makes complete sense given that SF Bay is certainly one of, if not THE, most challenging inland bodies of water to sail.

Spinnaker Sailing's subsidiary,Rendezvous Charters, offers corporate and private parties on U.S. Coast Guard Certified vessels of 50-90 feet in size. The two companies have been working together for over 30 years, offering the best in sailing entertainment and education to people from around the world.

The Spinnaker Team has US Coast Guard certified Captains & Instructors all with many years experience bringing thousands of people into the sailing lifestyle. We set the bar high and our graduates consistently are some of the best sailors in the world.
