ASA 101 Basic Keelboat 1 (Cole Example)

This course is designed for the beginner sailor with little to no experience. ALL of the class time is spent on the water where students learn about steering the boat, raising the sails, tacking & gybing and learning the safety procedures. This course will allow you to build confidence on San Francisco Bay and prepare for the next step in the program, Basic Keelboat 2 & your first ASA certification

Prerequisite: None

 

Basic Keelboat 1 is offered the every weekend, two days 10 am - 2pm. Midweek Mon-Tues 10am - 2 pm.

 $700 for Basic Keelboat 2 ($650 midweek) or save $$ if you buy Basic Keelboat Sailing for $1245 ($1200 midweek) 

which includes BK1 & BK2. Cost of Certification through ASA is $70 for registration and $50 for each Test.
