J/80
We have 2 of these currently and are working to purchase two more. Sailing can be the world's best family sport. The key is a boat that holds the attention and The J/80 is one of the best built, best sailing boats under 30. She offers the rare combination of a huge 12' cockpit, plenty of space below for all your gear, etc. and blazing performance in all the conditions SF Bay and dish out.
Numbers highlight the reason: Thanks to its 1,400 lb. fixed lead keel (48% ballast ratio) J/80 has big-boat feel and requires less experienced crew. Be sailing in 3 minutes. Take off the boom cover and hoist the mainsail, and cast off. You're now sailing faster than other boats with full canvas. Ready for more speed? Uncleat the furler line and pull in the jib sheet. Presto, now you're really flying.

Santa Cruz 27
"Phyliss Swift" is a classic Bay Boat designed specifically for the challenges of big breeze and large chop. Several Santa Cruz 27's have been sailed singlehanded to Hawaii including Phyliss Swift (3 times with a 2nd overall). The boats have a masthead rig with long J and short boom. There are no runners to contend with, or worse yet to fail to get up in time resulting in a rig loss.
Comfortable for up to 4 people, she's an easily driven hull, light and fast in all conditions, very capable in the middle of the Bay. Fast is FUN!

Santana 22
"Que Appelle" was Gary Mull's very first sailboat design and is still one of the best boats in its size-range, especially for sailing in heavy air. The basic design sprouted from sketches on a cocktail napkin at the Chart House in Alameda. (Tools of the trade were much more basic in those days.)
The Santana 22 quickly became one of the most popular one-design sailboats on San Francisco Bay and soon found its way to other windy venues such as Monterey, Oklahoma, the Columbia River, Houston, Dallas, and Lake Dillon, Colorado. A total of 747 boats were built in the first production run, and many of them still sail actively today.
"Que Apel" is one of the newer rereleased 22's. Updated cockpits, decks and interiors were incorporated into this design. These are the best Santana 22's ever built.

Andrew's 21's
We have 3 of these dedicated as charter only boats with long-range fuel tanks on the outboards for up to 3 hours of motoring now possible. The elevated booms give you plenty of headroom while sailing and make this performance keelboat a dream to sail. In even the lightest of breezes they sail fast yet are capable through their deep double reef of handing the Bay's bigger breeze!
Alan Andrews is one of the best designers in California. He penned this great little performance trainer.
Key elements of this design are great light air performance, simplicity of set up and operation, rugged construction to increase damage tolerance and design for low maintenance.
