Had an excellent sailing class in December with Garett! He is a great sailor and teacher. The videos were super helpful to prepare! We took a beginning sailing class in the summer and these videos helped keep those lessons fresh. I love that the classes max out at two students!! I was at the helm for a full day and my partner was at the helm the next. I got lucky with friendly beginner weather but the next day a storm was coming in and the boat turned up into the wind abruptly several times. Garett jumped in immediately and taught us where the tiller should be in high winds and de-powered the mainsail with urgency and yet ease. It was a day of sailing out into the bay, turning up in the wind, and going back into the calm cove to reset. Then doing it over and over again, such good practice! We passed our ASA 101 certification that day. We studied for it beforehand and still learned a few more things on the water that ended up being on the test! Highly recommend!
