We were over from England and wanted an unforgettable day and this was beyond expectations! We went out for several hours and we learnt lots about sailing and SF. My three boys -11, 14, 15 really loved it and are now talking about our next sailing trip.
These guys were great! Our company did an off-site with them to Angel Island and our captain was personable, knowledgeable, and fun!
I took the Basic Keelboat 1 and 2 class that totaled up to 4 full days of sailing and learning all about the ins and outs of the boat as well as learning the ropes (heh). I'm as beginner level they get but I had a blast learning new things and testing my limits. Captain Steve is a highly recommended instructor for Basic Keelboat 1 and genuinely got me interested in exploring this hobby more.

I have taken basic keelboat 1 and 2 along with basic coastal cruising and have now started chartering boats from Spinnaker. I recommend Spinnaker as it is a great place to learn how to sail. The team of instructors have your best interest in mind with great lessons and tips to ensure that you get on the water with safety in mind.
I finished BK1 and BK2 2 weeks ago with Captain David. I was super impressed with these classes that helped build my basic sailing skills and overall confidence on the water. Captain David does a great job teaching sailing theory and practical awareness on the water. He has a ton of experience and made the time fun and enjoyable. If you are interested in learning to sail in the Bay Area, choose Spinnaker Sailing
Incredibly kind, passionate, and highly flexible people working the office at Spinnaker. Good equipment and clean boats! More importantly though, I took ASA 101 (BK I +II) and a great emphasis was put on actual time at the tiller reading and reacting to different scenarios on the ever changing San Francisco Bay. My instructor took great care in imparting highly practical sailing knowledge, theory, and awareness. Huge skills and confidence boost from only a few days on the water!
I took the Basic Keelboat 1 class a few weeks ago; worth every penny. I went from landlubber to a confident(ish) sailor in 2 days. I planning to take to 101 B class in the next few weeks to get my certification.
With a 2:1 student instructor ratio, you learn real quick.

Drew and the Spinnaker Sailing crew have been exceptionally responsive, professional and helpful every step of the way. I honestly could not be more pleased with my experience.
In short, we are extremely satisfied and the partnership has exceeded our expectations in all regards. The thing I would call out, in particular, is the high standard of seamanship to which Drew and Garett maintains the boat. Also, any time we needed support from them, they've been responsive and quickly sorted things out. The 3-day onboarding program is very valuable and allowed my wife and I to take the boat out confidently from the get go.

I really loved your classes the boats are great and Dave is a great instructor. He's more hands on. Scott was great, talked us through it and never got frustrated with us no matter how we screwed up. We're Going to take next course possibly in late August or September
